What is Green Anchors?
- Green Anchors is a former shipyard transformed into an artist, maker, small business, and community space.
Where do I park? Where is the entrance?
- The entrance and box office are located HERE on the NW corner of the Cathedral Park Boat Ramp parking lot. If you park in the Cathedral Park Boat Ramp parking lot, have the Parking Kitty app ready and pay the $5.
- There is overflow street parking on N Baltimore Ave
- You can access the site map on our website by clicking HERE and scrolling to the bottom of the page.
- If the train is blocking the parking lot, be patient, it will move. Please do not climb between train cars.
How do I avoid the line upon entry?
- Nothing about Green Anchors is normal and that includes our box office. When large groups of people all arrive at the same time, the entry line can take time to get processed by our security team. Solution? Come early! Not only will you beat the lines but you can explore the wonderful gardens, shop our amazing local vendors and learn more about the non-profit mission that makes Green Anchors what it is.
What can I bring to the show?
- Small purse, blankets for grassy areas only, NO CHAIRS, water bottle (if empty)
What is not allowed?
- No backpacks. No outside food or beverage. No Pets. Please leave anything you wouldn’t like us to find at home!
- Our gardens are part of an active pollinator restoration project. Please refrain from walking into the flower beds to avoid crushing the tender plants.
Are kids allowed?
- Yes, this show is All Ages, kids 12 and under are FREE
Is there re-entry to the show?
- For the safety of our patrons, there is no re-entry. Please feel free to take a walk around our gardens, smell the flowers, and take in the view of the river if you’re needing a break from the show.
What are the run times of the show?
- Doors @ 6pm // KR3TURE @ 7:00pm // Dirtwire @ 8:30 // Curfew at 10:30pm
- Please be respectful of our neighborhood and leave quietly after the show ends.
Can we go down to the beach and play in the water?
- Sorry, there will be no access to the beach during the event and all access to the water is prohibited from the property.
Will there be food onsite?
- Yes, there will be multiple food vendors onsite. We try to provide a variety of choices. If you have a favorite food cart you’d like to see at the venue, please reach out!
Is there ADA Access?
- Yes, please notify us ahead of time for ADA parking needs at contact@greenanchorspdx.com
Is the event rain or shine?
- Yes, Green Anchors is an outdoor space, but the stage / dancefloor area is covered. That being said, come prepared with proper gear just in case.
What’s up with the tugboat on the pier?
- The vessel is a 1947 Army tugboat called Captain Bob. She is being preserved as an historic vessel and someday will be open to tours.
